YOU CAN TURN UP ON THE EVENING FROM 1730 WITHOUT A TICKET AND PAY ON THE GATE USING CASH/CARD.

*Tickets are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by Betteshanger Country Park. In such circumstances, ticket holders will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to a rescheduled date.

All proceeds from this event will be counted towards Billie Loveland's London Marathon fundraiser.

You must bring your own torch, or head torch to this event as there will be no lighting throughout the walk.

✨Billie Loveland is organising a magical “Walk Under the Stars” at Betteshanger Country Park in aid of The Oliver Steeper Foundation. By torchlight and a starlit path to follow, it’s the perfect adventure for families and children of all ages. Every step you take helps raise funds to provide life-saving anti-choking devices for nurseries, preschools, and childminders across the UK – turning a fun night out into a brighter, safer future for little ones everywhere should a choking emergency occur.

The 2-mile route is designed so everyone can join the adventure! Fully pathed and accessible for pushchairs, wheelchairs, and all abilities, the walk winds its way through the beautiful grounds of Betteshanger Country Park. Whether you’re strolling with little ones, rolling along with a buggy, or taking in the stars at your own pace, it’s a chance for the whole family to enjoy the magic together. 🌙✨

Things to do for the children:

 

• 🔦 Free Glowsticks

Upon entry, children will be given free glowsticks to carry around the walk. Available until stocks run out.

​

• 🏅 Free childrens finishing medal

After the walk, each child will receive a medal for completing the walk and helping to raise funds for The Oliver Steeper Foundation.

​​

• 🍂 Free childrens craft tent

Create your own magical wand, use leaves, hearts, sticks and much more. There's also scratchable halloween masks, dinosaur decorating and more! There will also be temporary tattoo's in the tent for parents to help themselves to and apply to their children, or partners!! 

​

• 🦖 Guess the Name of the Dinosaur (£1)

Choose from a variety of names, and if we choose your name at the end of the event you will win the dinosaur teddy!

• 🎁 Oli’s Lucky Dip (£1)

Our lucky dip bags contain prizes every time! Find the golden star ⭐in your bag and win a giant teddy bear!

​

• 🔎 Rex’s Treasure Hunt (£2)

Our pirate adventure, choose a square and find out if you have won instantly with a prize every time even if your square isn't a winner! Top prize is a £25 Smyths Toys voucher, and there's lots more prizes to win ranging from £2 to £20 in value.

• ⛳ Oli's Mini Golf (£2)

Subject to the weather, Oli's 9 hole crazy golf course will be open for all to use.

​

• 🌟 Starlight Trail Hunt (Free)

Throughout the walk, there will be letters to look for which will be lit up! Complete the two words we are looking for and when arriving back at the starting point, head to the charity gazebo and claim your free children's goodie bag to take home with you.

​

We can accept cash and card for all games at this event.

Thanks to the amazing support from Betteshanger Country Park, a selection of refreshments will be available to purchase between 5:30pm and 9:00pm. Whether it’s a warm drink under the stars or a tasty treat to enjoy after the walk, the venue has you covered throughout the evening.

Oliver’s parents, Lewis and Zoe Steeper, will also be at the event with The Oliver Steeper Foundation’s charity stall, packed full of fun for the kids! From just £1 a go, little adventurers can take on Guess the Name of the Dinosaur, dive into Oli’s Lucky Dip, or join Rex’s Treasure Hunt – with some amazing prizes waiting to be won. 🦖🎁✨

At the end of the walk

You will arrive back at the main entrance to the Park where refreshments will be available and each child will receive a medal for the walk, and for those children who collect all the letters and bring the finished paper sheets to our gazebo they will then receive a free goodie bag to take home with them.

Important Information

Oli’s Walk Under the Stars is a fun and family-friendly evening walk through Betteshanger Park. The route includes pathed outdoor terrain, so please wear suitable clothing, sturdy footwear, and bring your own torch as there will be no lighting on the trail.

 

While every effort is made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all participants take part at their own risk and children must be supervised at all times.
